There is more to the human body than the physical body. We shall know more here about the spiritual aspects of our body , for better understandings of all these for healing our body,mind and soul.
 

Our body has its own natural reservoir of energy, this energy is used by the body and released, to be replenished by universal energy drawn in by our Chakras.

Our body contains 7 vital energy centers and many secondary ones. These energy centers are known as Chakras and their proper function is essential to our physical, mental and spiritual health.

You can think of your Chakras as the dish antenna which receives the flow of energy in and distributes to the energy centers located in pranamaya koshas of the body. 

Although there are various models of the human body's chakra system they have one thing in common, all models depict an uncanny illustration of the human body's endocrine system and how the various endocrine glands chemically signal and communicate to one another.   

Since the chakra system is the principal processing center for every facet of our self, any interruption, obstruction or dysfunction or fault in the flow of energy in the chakras usually results to illnesses or disorders in our body, mind or spirit. A malfunction of the energy flow through any of the seven major chakras results in a corresponding reaction to specific areas of the body which generally affects the entire individual. The reason for this is because energy fields are generally holistic in nature and can not be separated from its complementary component parts; a malfunction of one affects the others in one way or another.



The Chakras

The human chakra system has been referred to by ancient Indian religious texts as well as by Western esoteric traditions, such as Jewish Kaballistic teachings and alchemical texts.   There are 7 chakras (which look like swirling funnels of energy extending from the spinal column out beyond the physical body) that align themselves vertically up the human spinal cord. The first chakra Muladhar, rests at the base of the spine and the seventh Sahasrar  is at the top of the head. The fourth Anahat is right in the center of the chest, frequently called the heart chakra, and there are three above it (5,6,7),Visudhi,Ajna and Sahasrar and three below it (1,2,3), Muladhar,Swadhisthan and Manipur. When a person is healthy, their chakras spin clockwise, pull in energy, and are in alignment vertically up and down the spinal cord. Healers work to restructure and balance the chakras and the human energy field (Aura) of people who are sick or emotionally upset. There are certain methods to remove blockages from unhealthy chakras and the HEF.

Vedic texts mention that human body is the only physical abode of soul.Only man has the  authority to work, either good or bad karma The soul is considered to be enveloped in five sheaths which we call as Pancha koshas. The Param Atman is at the center of the Bliss sheath.Our soul is the the part of supreme power or Param Atma .
The soul is enveloped in five sheaths. Development of all the five sheaths fully is necessary for man’s complete spiritual evolution.
Here are the 5 sheaths (Pancha kosha) or 7 sheets (layers of existence) of Human being:

1.Annamay Kosh (Food Sheath) - Outermost of the Pancha koshas
2.Pranmay Kosh (Vital Air Sheath or the life force)
3.Manomay Kosh (mind as distinctly different from intelligence - Sheath)
4.Vigyanmay Kosh (Intellect Sheath)
5.Aanandmay Kosh (Bliss Sheath - or ceaseless joy not connected with body or mind) - Innermost of the

 Pancha koshas
6.Chitta Kosh (spiritual wisdom)
7.Sat Kosh (the final state of merging with the Infinite
       By virtue of our good karma and sadhna , we can complete our spiritual journey from Annammay kosha to Anandamay kosha , from Nara to Narayan, that is, Atman will merge with Param Atman, state of non duality.
Healing is mainly balancing all the chakras , each are connected  with all our endocrine system,so if one chakras becomes out of balance then it will not only effect the related endocrine ,gland or particular organs, it will effect our whole system of body function.
God has blessed all human with all God like power and qualities, we have to recognise our power or Shakti , it starts with materialistic desire during our bigining spiritual journey.This power or Shakti lies at the tip of our spinal cord called  Kundalini shakti,with sadhna and good karma , Shakti travels up word from muladhara to shasrar chakra, that is Shakti moves upward through our sushumna nadi to be united with the Supream ,Param Atman who is Shiva,achieving a state of non duality, shivoham.
According to the law of cause and effect,whatever effect or dis ease a human is carrying ,for each of these dis ease there is a cause ,
As all knowledge of human.. present and past, are stored in our Vigyanmay Koshas,or call it as causal body , for healing, one must resolve the issues or causes present in Vigyanmaya /Gayanmaya/Causal body,  carrying from this present life or may be from some previous life.
In allopathy the medicine works only on Annamaya koshas, so the reason or cause of illness is never removed more over side effect of allopathic medicine further disturbs the other organs.
